Drake is outwardly firing again at Kendrick Lamar in a brand new monitor titled “Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50).” Only one week after J. Cole publicly confirmed regret for his and Kendrick’s track “7 Minute Drill,” Drake, 37, is making headlines for his new lyrics that had been leaked over the weekend.
“How the f**okay you massive steppin with a measurement 7 mens on?” Drake raps in a single verse. “Your final one bricked, you actually not on s**t / They make excuses for you ’trigger they hate to see me lit / Pull your contract ’trigger we gotta see the break up / Ain’t no approach you doin’ splits bitch your pants may rip.”
In one other a part of the monitor, Drake seemingly takes a jab at Kendrick’s participation in different well-known artists’ songs, reminiscent of Maroon 5‘s “Don’t Wanna Know” and Taylor Swift‘s “Dangerous Blood.” At one level, the “God’s Plan” rapper apparently calls Kendrick a “pipsqueak.”

“Maroon 5 want a verse, you higher make it witty,” Drake raps, “Then we want a verse for the Swifties / High say drop, you higher drop and provides him 50 / Pipsqueak, pipe down / You ain’t in no massive three, SZA received you wiped down, Travis received you wiped down, Savage received you wiped down / Like your label boy, you Interscope proper now.”
Earlier this month, J. Cole admitted that he felt “conflicted” about his contribution to Kendrick’s diss towards Drake within the monitor “7 Minute Drill.”
“It’s one a part of that s**t that make me really feel like, man, that’s the lamest s**t I ever did in my f**king life, proper?” J. Cole stated whereas talking to a crowd on the Dreamville Competition in North Carolina. “I understand how I really feel about my friends, these two n****s that I simply been blessed to even stand beside on this sport [Drake and Kendrick Lamar], not to mention chase, chase they greatness, proper? So, I felt conflicted ’trigger I’m like, bruh, I do know I don’t actually really feel no approach. However the world wanna see blood!”
Drake and Kendrick’s beef took off after the “Pray for Me” artist appeared in an uncredited verse on Metro Boomin’ and Future’s track “Like That” in March. Within the monitor, J. Cole referred to himself, Lamar and Drake because the “massive three.”
“Love once they argue the toughest MC / Is it Ok. Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?” J. Cole raps in a single verse. “We the massive three, like we began a league.” In response, Kendrick makes a direct reference to Drake’s track “First Particular person Shooter,” by rapping, “Yeah rise up with me, f**okay sneak dissing / ‘First Particular person Shooter,’ I hope they got here with three switches.”
