The BBC’s Andrew Harding was on the seashore in Wimereux, northern France, on Tuesday morning as migrants boarded a dinghy heading for the UK.
Because the overcrowded boat headed out to sea, there was a crush on board. 5 folks died, together with a seven-year-old woman.
Two males have been charged with immigration offences. Our correspondent Andrew Harding returns to the scene to clarify how occasions unfolded.
