Telugu Desam Celebration (TDP) chief Devineni Umamaheswara Rao has mentioned the switch of 9 IPS officers by the Election Fee of India (ECI) for “dereliction of responsibility” is proof of the blatant method wherein the Jagan Mohan Reddy authorities used these officers to fulfill the political targets of the ruling YSR Congress Celebration (YSRCP).

“One among these officers was accountable for the chaos that prevailed on the public assembly addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi close to Chilakaluripet on March 17 and one other officer obstructed the CBI probe into the homicide of former Kadapa MP Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy,” mentioned the previous Minister whereas addressing the media on April 3 (Wednesday).

Mr. Umamaheswara Rao mentioned that the Chief Minister was not bothered in regards to the destiny of those IPS officers. “What issues to Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy is his get together’s victory within the elections. It’s unlucky that the IPS officers danced to the tunes of the ruling get together, which is making an attempt to win the elections by means of all potential means,” he mentioned.

Referring to the distribution of pensions, the TDP chief mentioned 56 lakh beneficiaries struggled to get their pensions on the ward and village secretariats, for which the YSRCP “wrongly blamed the TDP and its allies”.

“The federal government may have deployed the employees of the secretariats to distribute pensions on the doorsteps of the beneficiaries. However, it didn’t do it, citing excuses. The actual fact is that the federal government coffers have dried up,” Mr. Umamaheswara Rao added.
