A person who works at an eatery right here was arrested on Friday for spitting in buyer’s meals, police mentioned.
The accused, Irfan (20) was arrested after a video of him spitting on a roti earlier than inserting it within the tandoor was shared on social media on Thursday, a police officer mentioned.

He’s a local of Nai Basti, Dhampur in Bijnor district and labored at an eatery situated close to Lodhi Chowk police outpost, Ghaziabad, police mentioned.
After the video was shared on social media, Khoda police promptly visited the eatery and arrested the accused, the officer added.
Indirapuram Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Swatantra Kumar Singh, confirmed the arrest and mentioned that the Meals Security and Medication Division had performed a sampling on the eatery.
