An idol of Lord Hanuman in a temple right here was vandalised by unidentified individuals, police stated on Saturday (January 11, 2025). An FIR has been registered within the matter.
The incident befell within the Golbazar locality within the Sikandarpur police station space on Friday night, they stated.
Station Home Officer (SHO) Vikas Chandra Pandey stated the mace of Lord Hanuman’s idol within the temple was damaged.
As quickly because the details about the incident was acquired, police reached the spot and acquired the broken idol repaired, he stated.
Pandey stated a case has been registered towards unidentified individuals on a grievance by Sikandarpur police outpost in-charge Jan Prakash Tiwari.
