A minimum of 4 individuals have been killed and three others injured in a tragic highway accident on Thursday night within the Arwal district of Bihar.
The incident came about round 7:30 PM close to Parsadi English village, beneath the jurisdiction of the City Police Station within the district.
Ali Sabri, the Station Home Officer (SHO) of the City Police Station, mentioned the victims, residents of Kamta village beneath Kaler police station within the district have been travelling in a Mahindra Scorpio SUV en path to Patna to attend a marriage ceremony.
“The accident occurred when the car, rushing by way of the realm, hit a small velocity breaker. The driving force misplaced management of the SUV, which subsequently skidded and fell into the Son Canal adjoining to the highway,” Mr Sabri mentioned.
“4 victims of a household died on the spot. Fortuitously, three individuals managed to outlive regardless of having critical accidents. They have been promptly rescued and brought to Sadar Hospital for remedy, the place they’re reported to be out of hazard,” Mr Sabri mentioned.
The victims of the highway accident have been recognized as Parmanand Kumar (30) – Resident of Kamta village, Priyanka Kumari (28) – Resident of Kamta village, Soni Kumari (22) – Spouse of Parmanand Kumar, and Tannu Kumari (1) – Daughter of Parmanand and Soni Kumari.
The injured individuals are recognized as Namneet Kumar (20) Savita Devi (30) and Vaijanti Devi (45).
