Centre approves ₹141 Crore loans for growth of Ramappa Circuit and Somasila Retreat

The Union authorities has authorized loans to the tune of ₹141 crore to develop two tourism tasks in Telangana:Ramappa Area Sustainable Tourism Circuit and Somasilla Wellness & Non secular Retreat Nallamala. The thirteenth century Ramappa temple was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Website in November, 2021.

Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Sekhawat introduced on Friday (November 29, 2024) that the Centre authorized 40 tasks throughout 23 States beneath the Particular Help to States/Union Territories for Capital Funding (SASCI) scheme, to develop iconic vacationer centres to international requirements. Two of them are in Telangana. Curiosity-free loans for a interval of fifty years are supplied beneath the scheme.

Whereas ₹73.74 crore was authorized for Ramappa Area Sustainable Tourism Circuit, ₹68.10 crore was authorized for Somasila Wellness & Non secular Retreat Nallamala.
