Ban on quarrying in Malappuram on December 2

Malappuram Collector V.R. Vinod banned quarrying within the district on Monday in view of the pink alert sounded for the district. Folks have been suggested to steer clear of landslide-prone areas. These residing on the banks of the rivers have been requested to stay vigilant. Mr. Vinod requested the Kerala State Electrical energy Board (KSEB), Public Works division (PWD), and panchayat-level catastrophe response groups to stay alert.
